Money aside, what is the best incubator for hatching over a dozen at a time. We have the Little Giant, but the temps seem to fluctuate up and down constantly

Money aside, idiot proof and almost zero maintenance, Brinsea Octagon 20 Advance. It will hold 2 dozen large eggs, rock steady with temps and humidity, and cleans in 10 minutes after hatching.Medium hatch at least a dozen or two but more is fine to if it works. Set and leave. I have young kids that would like to see the chicks hatch but the main goal is successful hatching so were not wasting time, eggs and money. We were giving the little giant incubator and turner and I understand why now. The temp after eggs were placed in fluctuates at least 5 degrees even when it remains shut. I feel like I have a better chance of winning the lottery than hatching any eggs.

I have a 20 Advance, and all I do is add water about 4 times. With the auto turn cradle, I bought mine for $360. You can add the humidity pump for $140 more and almost be totally hands off. They also sell an Eco model that doesn't have the digital display on the front, or the auto turn cradle for just under $200, and I would have total faith in that one as well. I bought mine after a horrendous experience with a cheaper incubator. A lot of the problems were mistakes of my own, but I would not want children to see the results that came from my first attempt. The Brinsea really is the closest you can come to autopilot. It is expensive, but it is well worth the money if you want a worryless hatch, and don't want to babysit your incubator
I bet I would if I tried dry incubationDon't let him fool you...he LOVES the cheap styrofoam bators...lmao![]()
