Best meat bird?

Hi, I am looking for a meat bird breed that is good with children, gets fairy large, and that do well with other livestock. Any suggestions?

I really like my breeses. They have been the tamest birds I have ever had and I didn't even handle them as babies other then to move them when cleaning their brooder. But I have never eaten one but the french claim their the best tasting chicken

I have two White Jersey Giant hens and they are BIG/heavy girls. They arent overly friendly but arent crazy/mean either.

The biggest issue with Jersey Giants as meat birds is they don't grow particularly fast, and they don't put on bulk until later. You're growing bone and innards for most of their early life - so overall feed conversion ends up being poor.
