best nesting idea for peafowl

New to the peafowl game and am curious what to use and what to make for a good pea nest.they have a horse barn with an outdoor run for winter but mainly just wander the yard. Any ideas please

Thanks the thread helped.i was wondering what to use for a nesting site.i have heard gravel and sand works well but wasnt too sure.i have found her nest outside and can probly just duplicate that since she chose it.i was just looking for ideas and possibly pics of others nest sites

Oh, I see.
If you do a search here, you'll find many stories about people trying to make nesting spots for their peas and failing! Peahens just like to find their own spot, no matter how appealing a nest you make your gal will probably not use it. Sometimes they like to nest in unlikely and uncomfortable looking locations!

One of mine likes to lay her egg in one of these when it's filled with fresh grain and crumbles.
