I have used milorganite which seems to be about as safe as anything. It seems to do the job and is pet safe immediately after application. Also I don’t irrigate my lawn and milorganite does not need to be watered in which was another big plus.

Would love to take some of your rain off your lawn

Here it's our rainy season. We usually get rain later in the day but last week/weekend it was raining all day on and off for several days. I was ready for the rain to stop. I have been cleaning coops and moving birds around, but couldn't during the rain. The next few days are at 30%, so back to work. I think we got around 11" of rain all total, according to my weather station.
