What is your favorite duck breed for pets? And why?

Applleyard and Calls......I also love my Buff Hen........I love all Ducks because they are Ducks...Feathered Puppies all their lives.........Brats from the get go!....Always happy and go with the flow of life ..........

I live Ducks and also love them...

Are your buffs loud? What's their personality? Can they fly? Would they get along w/ a pekin?

I think Pekins are great as pets, also Swedish have been great for me. on the other side of the spectrum I have khaki Campbell's and they are way to flighty to be good pets.

Just as loud as any other Hen Duck........No, she can not fly......Yes....Buffs are very friendly and easy to have in a mixed breed flock..
