I'm looking for a quality breeder of Dorking and Buckeye Chicks. My plan is to have quality brood stock so I can breed my own chicks year after year for the farm I work for.

I believe you're right. However I'm a bit hesitant to order from a large scale hatchery because quality control may have been sacrificed in favor of mass production.

i have ordered from large scale hatcheries and none of the chickens have died. i haven't ordered from murray mcmurray though

Where are you located? Or how far are you willing to drive? I decided to get back into buckeyes this year and it took some legwork to track down breeders. I can share some contacts if you're looking in the midwest.

Im also interested in Buckeyes but am in TN. Not sure how close any breeders would be to me. Any info appreciated.
