Best place to get an egg basket?

Now I am armed with resources of where to look.

Curious, what WOULD be better, wire or woven? I just like the look of the old type wire baskets.

I got mine at walmart for $5. It is not wired but wood weave. They did have wire also. I have seen them at craft fairs and gift shops also.

Walmart? Who would have thought? I guess I must be brain dead or something but didnt even think of looking there!

I did look at eggcartons.com and do really like the ones they have, so at this point will probably order one from that site.

With my two older hens and my four girls who just started laying I can still fit their three or four a day in my bathrobe pocket...

Putting eggs in pocket is not a good idea. They will break trust me I know.

I got a plastic bucket for building sandcastles at the dollar store. works great

Found one at a junk store for 50 cents a couple of days ago. Just keep looking and you'll find one.
