Best place to put brooder??

Absolutely - the coop is great. Just put the whole brooder inside. Done!

I'm thinking OP would feel much more secure with them near, esp if it's the first experience with chicks. It's also a great way to learn about them through observation. I raised my first batch inside (bc I was a newbie) my second outside (a broody raised them) my third inside (after a shipping disaster), and my fourth outside. Both work fine, imho.

In the coop, will make life a lot easier in the long run. Won’t need to acclimatize, coop train at night, etc.

edit:
I just saw you are using a mama heat pad. Excellent choice!
100% absolutely move them out to the coop, this is the best way to raise chicks.

Thank you for your info. Normally I would agree with you about putting them in the coop. But I'm doing an extensive mite/lice treatment on the coop right now. I had an infestation last year and tried everything to get rid of them. I had to use ivermectin to do it, in the end but I'm not wanting to lose that many weeks of eggs again. So this year I'm doing extensive treatments 3 times a year and I do the birds and the coop. I feel it's not the environment for them right now. When the treatment is done in a month I'll be moving them out there. 😊
