Here is my 22 week old Silver Laced Polish Pullet. Easy going and jibbers jabbers to me.
She's a cutie!!!
The other day, she wasn't feeling well and once I pulled her feathers back in a hair tie, she ran around flapping like a Crazy girl!

Introducing:
"The Iron Maiden"
She survived 8 weeks of her life in my Infirmary.
Two RIR Scalped her prettiest cotton top head into a flap to expose her skull.
Ripped her feathers and skin off of her entire neck to expose her neck muscles & tendons. Stripped her feathers and skin off her back wing bone and down her back & she no longer has two ears.
When I found her in her own pool of blood, I gave her beck to my mouth respiration and chest compressions for a thready heartbeat. I covered her nose and put her head under cold water to snap her out of shock. Then I began to care for her.
Her name was Punkie but, since her relentless recovery, she is now called "The Iron Maiden"
