This is the coop I use.

It's enough space for my two hens. I might go with 3 large fowl hens, but I think any more would be a stretch. Maybe 4 bantams/silkies would do well in it. You will need to modify the locks, but other than that, it's predator proof. A raccoon tried to get into mine, and failed.
This is a picture of my specific coop. It's bigger than it looks, the run is about 9' x 4'.
