Best rooster breeds

I may decide I want a roo for my girls, but I need a good breed that is friendly... well, at least not known to be super mean.

Silkies and Buff Orpingtons are good, I have a silkie and he gets mad if I don't give him attention and crows whenever I walk by the coop!

i only have one roo which is a silkie (bantam) and he is nice to us but can and will attack the other silkies with him.

Black Austalorps are very nice and are good protectors.Most of them are.... depends on there genetics.Here is mine

I've heard buff Orphingtons are great! And I've always wanted silkies!

I like him as much as my cats and dogs, he's a sweetie but still protective of his girls (which is what I was hoping for lol)
