W/ all due respect to prindelpride,I'd have to disgaree w/ some of what you said.
Regarding Polish, I've had a few and all the the roo's were jerks, abusive of their women and attacked ppl.The hens were bullies too.Birds like that are called "chicken soup." at my place.
Regarding your statements about game birds, well, you really couldn't be more wrong. They are bred to be easy to handle;no-one wants a bird w/ knives on his wrist to be aggressive so they selectively breed for easily handled birds. The breeders I know and myself do and all I've raised for over 30 years is games, some American but mostly Orientals. The orientals can get big and could hurt you if they wanted but they don't,mostly big, goofy family guys. You can't keep American game roos together as they will fight, but Orientals won't if they grow up w/ ea other. Very cool to see 4-5 tall,long-tailed,dinosaur looking birds walking the yard.W/ a crew of two ,hawks are not an issue, as they will stand up to them.
The one game breed I'd put a note of caution on is Asil as they are very strong-willed,but,those aside most game breeds are good roosters.
The Thai and Brazilians are easy-going in their disposition, get along w/ any bird they're raised w/ .Buy them as eggs or chicks, you can't put an adult 'roo in w/ a new flock that has other roosters he doesn't already know, but that's pretty much true w/ any breed.
coupla pics, the blonde is a brazilian and the red is a thai, both come in many colors
