Best small incubator?

I have the little giant and have found you really have to watch the temp and use your own thermometer. You can't trust the one on it.
SAME for anyone looking at a little giant incubator: you've been warned! I even have the little giant that's all souped-up with the fan and egg turner and everything and the temperature and humidity reader is AWFUL!!!! The little giant digital display is telling me right now that the temperature and humidity is 96.7 and 42% BUT two trustworthy thermometers and hygrometers in there right now are reading 103-4 and 70%.

No wonder my last batch of turkeys ALL DIED. I thought it was too dry, and kept adding water because of the hygrometer but the bacterial bloom that coated the styrofoam definitely confirm the incubator was waaaaaay to wet and hot. UGH

I know plenty of people have had great results with this standard and affordable incubator BUT honestly IMO this was a HUGE waste of $100, especially when there are some cheaper and better options on amazon.

My Little Giant incubator worked fine after adding in an aftermarket fan.

Next hatch is due around March 3 or so. Will update here on whether I was able to replicate the good results again. (First hatch without the fan was garbage though)

If it works, I'd recommend Little Giant. The price is right and it's pretty spacious inside.

I would suggest that you get the 1588 - Genesis Hova-Bator we have had good hatch rate if you keep humidity in its proper place and you store them properly before you put them in you should be good if you go onto http://www.gqfmfg.com/12-volt-hova-bator/1588-genesis-hova-bator/ then you can see it. if you are not in the states then they will not ship to you but if you aren't you could go on to https://www.berryhill.ca/Incubator-Digital-HovaBator-Incubator-with-Turner-p/1588rk.htm this one has a turner for hatching turkey size eggs to quail size eggs.

the next link has a turner that can fit 50 duck or chicken eggs but can fit 120 quail eggs https://www.berryhill.ca/Incubator-Digital-HovaBator-Incubator-Quail-Turner-p/1588rkq.htm all of theese would be a good choice. it all depends on what you want to hatch they are all the same incubator the only difference is the turner.
