Hatched chicks in incubator

So hatch day has begun and one chick hatched yesterday earlier than the rest ( under 24 hrs as of now) but the other are just beginning to pip yesterday night. How long can I leave the first chick before it will need access to food and water? The incubator is small and I don't want to risk opening it while waiting for the others to hatch out.
Chicks are good up to 48-72 hours without food or water ..but best to get them out quickly to not let out humidity, if the chick is dry take it out of you have egg turner hope you have taken it out I take my turner out 2 days before hatch

Thanks @Nabiki
For some reason I thought handling was supposed to be kept to a minimum after lockdown.
I'm still debating if I want to candle at seven days. If the drop in temp and humidity is worth candling 34 eggs.

I leave my eggs up to 2 or 3 days...before I remove any bad eggs ...did you candle your eggs to make sure all the fertil?

That may be true for chicken chicks, but quail chicks are a lot smaller and need to get out sooner.

They might survive that long, but they aren't going to thrive.

Always best to candle your eggs at 7 days you will be fine, you can put warm wet rags or paper towels to bring humidity up quickly

You can candle a few at a time without affecting the temperature much. Humidity is a lot more forgiving, so if the humidity drops significantly for 10 minutes it's not going to harm them.
