Best Standard size......

I have bantam cochins and some mutt standards right now and was thinking of getting some more standards but I am concerned because the roo is a meanie and if i do get a standard I want a more friendly, easy to handle roo. Any suggestions on what breed?

I think the answers that you are going to get will be all over the board saying that, each person has had one great rooster in any number of breeds. Ultimately I have had LOTS of birds over the years and lots of breeds, and it varies from one bird to another. Granted some breeds can be more aggressive than others, but you can have nice males and really mean roosters in every breed. I think trial and error will be your best bet.

Haha! With people giving away roosters all the time, it shouldnt be a problem to find a rooster or seven! ;D
