IKR I seen that post but unfortunately I know nothing about that I am new to hatching too lol

I think I got it figured out. I want baby turks so bad! My mama Mabel is the sweetest!! The dad, not so much, but that’s ok. And any dumor or nutrena food is perfect for your babies!! Best of luck

Thanks and glad you got it figured out good luck with your turks I always liked turks, ducks, geese, and swans but unfortunately I only have room for chickens right now. Oh well maybe in the future

I've used the Nutrena, was not displeased, but it is NOT Organic. It's "all natural" as an industry group defines the term, nothing more.

I don't feed organic, but the Scratch + Peck Starter has good numbers, though it's expensive. All organics are, but it has better numbers than most.

I don't do medicated feed, so I start with Payback organic hatch-to-hen crumble, and then about 2 weeks in I add in Scratch & Peck starter, fermented. The S&P comes in later as it's rather chunky for starter, so while the chicks will eat it I'd rather give them a couple of weeks of grit first before I add it into their diet.

I have never done chicks, so I am not sure I am the best to answer or help

I can tell you that I use our local feed store brand of all-flock feed for my chickens, never had any concerns about it or issues with it. It is cheaper than a name brand so that helps
