nutri-drench is great...many others use it I belienve. What happened to your hen?

You can use either, the nutri drench is fast absorbing so often used in sick birds for a quick boost. It can cause diahrea if given for more than a few days. If she's not eating or drinking you will need to give it orally either way. If you can give more details on what is going on with her, you may get more suggestions on what might help.
