I just hatched three goslings out of ten eggs. It was nearly impossible to keep the temperature and humidity stable. I used a digital thermometer/hydrometer. I'm needing to know what the best kind of thermometer and humidity gauge you guys think are the best. And why is it that the temperature that the incubator gives us is not correct??
I'm gonna hatch some babies again and want to make sure I do it right.

Best thermometer? Great question. Many incubators are accurate, and many are only accurate in certain zones within, and some incubator companies should be ashamed for all the wasted eggs that are put in them.

If you had a hard time keeping the temp and humidity "stable" you might be having issues with your incubator and not your thermometer/hygrometer.

But if your looking for another thermometer.... I have used 6 different thermometer/hygrometers and I finally found one I like. I have 3 of them now and they all read the same. They do humidity and temp.
