Best Time to catch a Rooster Please Tell Me

I have to get a rooster out of my coop today. I have to many and my girls are showing the signs. He is a Minorca and tempermental as h__ __L.

When would the best time to get him be? I don't want to do it but know it is best for my girls? Please help

If I have to mess with any of my birds I usually do it right before it gets dark but after they are all on the roosts. They stay calmer that way.

Agreed! I always wait till they are asleep, saves a lot of stress on everyone!
