Best time to kill my Rhode Island Red Rooster

I do my standard or mixed-breed roos at 18-22 weeks. I like 'em to get big & beefy. They get slow-roasted with broth & veggies, or slow-simmered in herbed broth, and always taste good & tender. Be sure to let him rest in the refrigerator for a few days between processing & cooking. Enjoy!

what if he's been on medicated food? Mine has and I don;t know if the meat would taste bad! anyone know? he's 4 months...

He's three pounds I weighed him last week. He's been on Medicated feed he will be 13 weeks old this friday. I'm wondering about Medicated feed too. Okay to eat?

Take him of the medicated feed for the duration of time it takes to get him to your desired weight. Let him rest in the refrigerator until rigor has passed. Enjoy..
