There are lots of things you can feed as treats, it's hard to pick a "best" one. I like giving mine mealworms (great high protein snack), fresh greens such as spinach, a little cooked rice now and then... Just remember when feeding anything other than formulated chicken feed that the chickens will need grit to help them break it down. And treats should equal no more than 10% of their daily feed intake. Have a look here for treats ideas and, very importantly, what not to give them, (such as salty foods):

My favorite treats to feed my chickens

I mix blueberries, cut up strawberries, or other small fruit with yogurt and dried oats, they love it.
They also love water melon and will even eat the rinds.
Mine will also eat every part of cucumbers.
I also found they will eat plain spaghetti noodles. I only gave them this once but it was really funny to watch them run around with long spaghetti noodles hanging out!
I found that a lot of things that are bad for humans, are also bad for chickens. I feed mine a lot of fruits and veggies :D

Chickens will eat almost any food but the best treats are fruit, vegatales, nuts and seeds. Bread is not a good treat because it doesn't have much protein or vitamins. I feed blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries in small bowls every now and again and I feed nuts and seeds in the same way. I hang fresh vegetables from the top of my runs and the hens pick at it during the day.I also give my hens yogurt and small cubes of cheese sometimes
