I want to add to my farm here in fl.
What types of turkeys are the best for raising to eat and eggs?

Other than the broad breasted varieties, which are intended to be eaten and not raised and kept, pick the turkey whose looks appeal to you.

The only one perhaps to not get is the Royal Palm if you are hoping to raise turkeys for meat. They are rather scrawny in the breast area. Too bad, because they are the most beautiful of all. On the other hand, if you like their looks the best, they are edible.
