I have a broody hen that's been sitting on eggs forever......and finally 1 beautiful chick has hatched. The problem is.....she no longer is sitting on the remainder of the unhatched eggs and is sooo happy with this one little chick. Chick (1 week old) and hen are doing great but I was wondering if I could add some chicks that I purchase at the feed store for this hen to mother. My hen is the perfect mother to this 1 little chick and I would like to take advantage of mother nature raising some more chicks for me. Any advice would be appreciated.
