I have a few raised coops and I use hay as bedding on the floor, so the poop falls on the hay. I go in and take out the old hay, hose down the wire floor (minimal to almost no poop on the wire) and put in fresh hay. If the roosts and back walls have poop on them, I clean them with a little bleach and water. It doesn't take long at all. The hay helps out tremendously. If I didn't have hay as bedding, I would be cleaning ALL DAY LONG.
My other coops have dirt floor. All I have to do is go in and clean the roosts and back wall. Bleach and water does it for me.
