Best way to get rid of mice?

I've been using traps right next to their hole. I caught 3 at once the other day. Funny thing is that I was tossing them in the alley by some brush and trees and I let the chickens out and guess what they found.

I was chasing them all over the yard taking mice away from them. I'm sure it was quite the sight.

My hens kill mice all the time. i find mouse remains all over the barn.

since I do not have a cat, can not get a cat, or even mention the word cat, this is all i have. Cathens.

There's a repeating mouse trap called "tin cat" that I use. When I start seeing signs I'll remove all the feeders at dark and bait the trap with chicken feed and leave it till morning. Its a live trap so you will need to dispose of them once you catch them.
