Best way to install roost bars across a 14 ft wall

Exactly what I do, but I use the 4x4 joist hangers so that I can turn the 4 in side up.

Damn im dumb i never thought of that. Seems like the birds like to have their feet flat and able to sit on them to keep warm. Might need to return mine and grab some 4x4 for a wider perch area.
