Best way to mark Ducks

We have a duck with bumble foot, and want to mark her and one of her “sisters” for monitoring. What do you all suggest?

Maybe separate her? Or maybe use some sort of non-chemical paint? Maybe use food coloring?

I saw a photo on this forum somewhere where their ducks had on like mini bandanas. I think they were Valentine's Day with hearts but they were cute. Something like that might work.

I seen the same picture!! I don’t remember where on here though. I’m so scared of strangulation, but I would love to do something like it!!!

Would your ducks still have access to water? I would think the food coloring would wash right off.

My friend use crayons non toxic markers

I would say just put a big dot on her wings or something like that.

That would work, thank you! She may have to be “purple duck@ for a few days
