Best way to pack fertilized eggs for shipping.

Can anyone suggest the best way to pack ferilized eggs for shipping? The eggs will travel by Greyhound, with a transit time of 10-12 hours.

When I packed mine...I lined the box with bubble wrap....then newpaper on the bottom, wrap each egg in bubble wrap...and pack them large end standing up. Make sure there is no "wiggle room" in the box. Top with more bubble wrap, and newpaper to fill in the empty spaces.

I'm looking at 45 eggs to ship. Could I have them in an egg carton bottom with the top removed? Then pack bubble wrap, etc around them?
