Best way to raise a rooster?

About waist high, in a saucepan with some mushrooms, some Pinot Noir........

I made this mistake Just barely and my whole family paid..we had a rooster that we actually didnt realize he was until about 12 weeks, so he was handled hand fed and really spoiled until 2 weeks ago when he jumped at my 3 year old , and then tried to flog him, I smacked him down and a few minutes later the same thing,, then a few days later he went after my 7 year old and then my 9 nine year old,,,i could figure it out we had always hand fed hima nd taken such good care, then he started out after everyone and then he got rough with the hens in his anger,, so he went byby.. it crushed us all if I have a rooster again I will try that method..for sure..

Put the method to the test today. My Speckled Sussex cockerel bit me when I went to move home out of my way today. Iquick grabbed his head and body and pinned him to the ground. I held him there for about a minute after he stopped struggling. When I let him up I swatted him on the butt to move him out of my way and it seemed to do the trick. For the rest of the day he was sure to get his bottom out of my way
