Is there a best way to separate my polish chickens so I can get pure bred polish chicks but still have them all free range? Do I need to build 2 completely separate coops or will I run the risk of having a bunch of mix breed chicks with the polish roosters. I have 2 polish roosters and the 4 polish chicks.
The rest of my flock are a mix of brown egg layers of different ages.

If the Polish roosters are your only roosters then just hatch the eggs laid by the polish hens. If you don't hatch the eggs laid by the brown egg layers and the only roosters are the polish you don't have a problem. Polish are supposed to lay white eggs so you should be able to easily tell which eggs are not brown.

If you have any other roosters then you have to keep the polish hens away from those other roosters day and night. They cannot all free range at the same time.

Thank you. That’s a great idea. So far, it looks like I only have polish roosters. Will start with the white eggs.
