Best way to store eggs for bator?

Ridgerunner- Thanks for the article.Printed and read...good idea to read before every hatch season,so thanks!

jrsqlc-If I need to wait longer sometime than a couple of days,I might use that idea. Thanks for responding.

fluffy-butt-farms- Nice...almost 100 %! I hope I can do the same.I did think about buying a small fridge just for egg storage( so that I can put my sodas back in the fridge and get a COLD drink, right now too many eggs!)

jessiewoodard57-Man! That pic made me have the "itch" even more! What kind are ya hatchin'?

I have New Hampshire Reds, EEs, and some polish silkie crosses (a freinds polish silkies)

I just finished a hatch 42 of the 47 hatched out 2 RIR, 4 EEs, 2 Marans, and 34 New Hampshire reds. I plan to keep the EEs and a roo or two NHR. All the others I am selling on craigs list.

Wow...nice job! Do they sell well in Fl on craigs list? I checked craigs list recently here in NY and I couldn't find any of what I was looking for.Mostly furnitures and things around here but I wanted livestock.Hope you sell what you want!
I get my first EE's in april if all goes well at the hatchery...last years order they had a mishap so I got replacement NH's.They are hatchery stock but they're pretty and friendly!

If they don't sell on craigs list I take them to the auction. Rhight now they are selling a little slow....But I love hatching so much and I don't have to pay for egg so anything I sell them for works out for the feed bill.
