best way to water ducks?

What is the best way to water ducks? I once used a chicken waterer before but the problem was that the ducks would splash lots of water out and they had a hard time getting their beaks under water.

I've used allsorts before!! They had a chicken waterer, bucket, rabbit bottle (this was there own choice?!?!) and have now settled on deep dish overnight and pond in day, i really couldnt say what the best way is because they just seem to make a mess regardless!
