Best Week a Man Could Ask For WooHoo

@JedJackson you called it I think the Brahma cross layer this egg. I would call it green, what do you think?
I would call it green, too, or blue green. It's a beautiful, rich color! Often green or blue eggs are much paler, so you've got a real winner in Spider Man. Plus it is a large egg, and usually the first ones are small, so it's likely her eggs will get progressively larger with time. Congrats!

Thanks, the wait is on for the others. Lol

They are a bit younger, the white one with the green legs is 21 weeks the EE with the gold crown is 17-19 I see this past week her comb grew and is reddening, the little EE is a bit younger not 100% 15-17 weeks. She was sort of an outcast where I got her but she is picking up now. She knows how to stay out of the line of fire lol

It won't be too long for any of them. It varies a bit, 20 to 26 weeks is when most lay, in my experience. But it can be earlier.

It's great that the little EE is doing well. Even if she's at the bottom of the pecking order, if she can hold her own and learn to avoid problems while still getting enough to eat and drink, then she will be fine.

She’s been here well over a month I got her and the Australorp cross at the same time. They are buddies. She is starting to fight back a bit. I have multiple feeding and watering so she is getting her share and I see growth.

Sorry, I don't usually check BYC on the weekends (Gasp, I know!) LOL I volunteer with a veterans organization and tis the season, and I'm volunteering at our local Renaissance Faire. I just love it.

Lets see if I can pick up everything here... LOL

Anyway... What is the brahma crossed with again? if its carries the blue gene then its a possibility... and the egg... looks greenish, which would be the result of a blue gene and a brown gene.

I’m not sure but the breeder has some real Amereurcanas and some Easter Eggers. His head rooster is big EE with feathers on his legs. I’m sure he said it was crossed with a Brahma.
