Hey guys,
So I am putting together a pre fab coop for my 4 chicks and I want to seal the wood as I am assembling it. what do you guys recommend as a sealer for a coop that is clear and won't leave a noxious odor for the birds on the inside? thanks!

Is the process 1) sand inside and out, 2) seal inside and out, 3) paint the outside? I plan on using 3/4” pine plywood. Thanks!

...or is it sand, prime/paint exterior and then seal both internal and external? (Can you tell I have no idea what I’m doing?)

If your using a new plywood, clean the wood with damp cloth remove all dust then apply the waterproof stain or sealer. Wait for it to dry, then done.

I used a waterproof stain and it definitely repels water, brand was Behr at Homedepot.
