Beta Tester?

I discovered yesterday that the BYC app (Play Store) has a beta program. Does that do anything? I'd love to test new features but if there aren't any then I won't bother. ( I just like the emojis for some reason)

I don't think the app in the Play Store has been updated in a long time. This is the newest "app".
