When we were getting our Brinsea going a few weeks ago, I noticed the water creeping along to the pump and not being very effective. Hubby noted the hose around the pump spindle thing was crimped. He replaced it, and that fixed it. He checked the other two Brinseas and found a similar problem, so he replaced those too.
It takes a piece of hose, 4.5" long, and it took him only a couple of minutes. Just mentioning it in case anyone experiences a similar issue.
It's a pretty cheap fix if that's the only thing these ever need. Considering ours ran non-stop from February to September, that's pretty remarkable!
