which is better hand turning eggs or automatic egg turner or does it make a difference as long as they are turned every 12 hours? i have 100+ quaill eggs fresh in the bator..

doesn't matter... but eggs should be turned 3 times a day not two.... personally i like hand turning but i only incubate 12 eggs at a time... with 100+ eggs i'd say the automatic turner would probably be easier

thanks i plan on turning them 3 times a day haha it will take for ever i marked them it took me an hour to mark all of them and place them but im excited to see the end result! and i also have an automatic turner on the way but i was told the turner wasnt as good as hand turning i was just wanting everyones input so thanks and any more knolwge you can share with me i appericate it!!!

haha i dont know how much of a difference it makes.. i just hatched 9 chicks (out of 10) just to have as backyard pets and i figured it would be easy to hand turn them and its nice to look back now knowing that i was with them every step of the way but with 100+ eggs if you hand turned them 3 times a day that would take hours!!!!

ya haha thats why i got a turner on the way when it gets here im putting them in it..and im just raising these to let go be side my house.
