Between Life and Death RP

) Eris bent down and washed her face in the stream. She enjoyed the pure water, and her clean state, when she saw a deer up ahead. Her fangs instantly grew, cutting the insides of her mouth without warning. She shook her head and clenched her fists.

Ransom watched in confusion as Eris's eyes narrowed, and fangs grew. Then he saw the deer. Of course.
"Hey," Ransom said roughly, grabbing her arm. "You already ate today," he told her. "You're not hungry."
Even though they would always be hungry; even though Ransom longed for the deer just as much as she did, he stopped her. Eris had to be taught self-control.

(Hmm. How about they RP as Fallens for a while, and if that gets boring, one/both of them can be resurrected?)

Eris snapped out of it, and looked at him fearfully, whimpering "I'm sorry. I didn't want to, butDeath told me I should." She felt really grateful for Ransom now.

Ransom just nodded, and threw a rock. The noise scared the deer away, ensuring that neither of them would be tempted.

Claire shook her head instantly, and commented "No, I was overreacting. It was my fault completely, I'm sorrry."

"It's fine. I don't like upsetting you,so I wanted to make sure it was ok if she came back to walk on the beach with me again?" Pryrus said carefully, not wanting to make Claire upset again. "It's just I had fun the other night, you know, and i offered if she ever wanted to do it again and she said yes."~
Adara actually smiled this time, looking down at her lap, slightly embarrassed.
"My father favored the name. He said it was the name of his mother, I was named after her." Adara informed him pleasantly, speaking a little more now, "That...That was the first time he a-acknowledge a woman..." She said, sounding rather bitter now. 'Women; Father hated them. Thought they were sin."

"Why would your father think women are a sin? Was it his religion or something?" Caleb asked in shock, confused at how that man could feel that way.~

Adara nodded,
"His religion and his culture. He was taught that way from the day he could understand." She told Caleb with a sigh."I...I do not want to be trapped in that anymore. I used to be unable to remove my hijab, but now I took it off. America...In America, women have freedom. I see them walking down street alone, wearing what they want. I know I do not have home, but a woman from my culture could never have so much freedom." She sounded very passionate about this, with a smile daring to appear on her face. She just couldn't believe the fact that she was free. She had no home, no money, and barely any understanding of American culture, but she had the freedom to just be a person, not half that of a man.

Claire nodded tiredly, a weak smile on her face.

Jace strained, with all of his being, for two things: To get to the hospital, and to keep Araidna safe. When at last he saw the huge hospital building, he dove for it, too tired to perform an actual landing. He crashed into the parking lot, the gravel scraping at his back and wings. But Araidna was unhurt, nestled as she was in his arms.
He burst into the hospital, startling the clerk. "Please help her!" he cried, motioning to Araidna in his arms. He knew what the clerk was thinking: This boy, with his soaking shirt, desperate eyes, and wings was dangerous. Well, she was right. He was dangerous.
His fangs came out, and he struggled to tuck the bloodlust away, deep inside of him. "Take her and I'll go," Jace cried out, desperate. And it was just as well, because within a minute, a gurney and it's crew carried Araidna away.
"Another girl will come in," he told he clerk. "Her name will be Mute. And she'll - she'll talk to you," Jace said with some surprise, as he knew that Mute would, once again, break her oath. "She'll tell you that her friend should have just come. You tell her," he said, breathing heavily, "You tell her that Araidna's safe, and tell her where to find her." The clerk's face was white as she wrote this all down. Heart hammering, Jace burst through the door, away from the smell, that torturous smell. He curled up in a heap in the parking lot, his strength spent.

But hey. He hadn't killed anyone.
