Claire was a little startled at him grabbing his hand so suddenly, but eventually got used to the coldness of it, and began to enjoy his company, her first real friend. She stood up, ready to follow him.

Claire looked in wonder as she realized she would hover above the ground, no need to walk. She looked up at Pyrus' intimidating tall figure, and noticed how intimidating he must've been when she was a human.

Laurel didn't appreciate him calling her weakling, but was ready. She would have her own way of killing. It would silent and graceful, yet brutally terrifying. She asked quietly "And where will I get those souls?"
