~A flash of brown cloth shot through the sky, attempting to race through clouds but finding it futile. Taquickar grinned in contented ecstasy and tucked his magnificent gray wings close to his body, plummeting straight to the ground. At the last second, he let them out and landed gracefully in the midst of an expansive meadow. With a long sigh of recognition that the fun had ceased, he ran a hand through his ruffled blonde hair and leaned against a lone pine tree, letting it scatter its refreshing shadows across his sun-beaten face.~

Melody had no idea where she was and she didn't like it, none of the sounds or scents or even the ground felt like what she was use to. Luckily she caught a sound that made her perk up, it was the sound of powerful wings that could only belong to Guardians and Fallen. Melody sighed, she would have to take the chance. She started her way slowly to where she heard the wing beats crease, she used her staff to help guide her a little too.

~Taquickar's piercing blue eyes narrowed as a form appeared near the edge of the meadow. He eased up off of the tree, untucking his wings, and slowly climbing a few feet into the sky with methodical wing beats. He advanced carefully, realizing as he drew near that the newcomer was female and obviously a Guardian. He gave a soft whistle of relief and descended back to the soft grass a few feet away from the blonde girl, his dusty sandals enveloped once more in lush greenery. "Hello," he murmured carefully, noting her odd gait and staff.~

"A Guardian."~

Melody was still a bit suspicious but she knew she didn't really have another option so she boldly responded "I'm Melody, obviously another Guardian and as you probably realized I'm blind but if you are lying about being a Guardian, I do warn you I can fight"
