Melody laughs a bit at his fierceness "Yeah we'll show Death what for, sooner or later" she states with cheerful determination

Xylo smiled back, and laughed "Good. I should dry out my clothes. Who knew a Fallen was so good at splashing."

Jace looked around, wiping wet hair from his eyes. "Araidna?" he called, his voice nearly drowned before the roaring waterfall. Swiftly, he heaved himself out of the underground river, goosebumps dotting his skin. "Araidna!" he shouted, his teeth chattering. He held out an arm to help Mute out of the river, too.

Eris woke up slowly, eyes growing at the sight of the raw rabbits. She couldn't eat something that was raw, but Death told her she did.

Ransom bit his lip as he hungrily tried not to devour the rabbits. "Here," he said, presenting one of the bloody red chunks to Eris. "It's just like buying meat from the grocery store," he said. "No different than that. Except the rabbits probably lead a better life than those chickens they sell." He looked at her, ashamed to even have to say this, ashamed to make her eat raw meat. This was his fault.

Mute excepted his helping hand and pulled herself out of the water. She stood to her feet, sopping wet. She gathered her weapon quickly and bolted through the entrance of the cavern. Mute found Araidna, laying on the ground, with blood dripping blood.
