Between Life and Death RP

At the sight of the sword, Jace's eyes filled with unwanted tears. "I'm sorry," he whispered, before taking off. Hunger burned deep inside, licking at his resolve. But he would not hurt Araidna.
By this time, he was high enough that the scent of blood was gone, and he could still make out Mute and Araidna's small forms. Please let them make it, he prayed.

Mute sighed, pleasantly surprised at how Jace could handle himself in these situations even though he is a fallen. Quickly, she turned her attention to Araidna Please be alright.. she pleaded in the form of a thought. After a check of her pulse again, she was thankful that she was still alive. She lifted her friend over her shoulder, and moved as fast as she could in the direction of the nearest hospital.

"Adara... That's a beautiful name! I had a cousin named Anora. Not the same, but similar. Everyone loved her name!" Caleb stated. He wanted to make sure she felt welcomed, bit didn't want her to feel uncomfortable by talking too much either.~
Adara actually smiled this time, looking down at her lap, slightly embarrassed.
"My father favored the name. He said it was the name of his mother, I was named after her." Adara informed him pleasantly, speaking a little more now, "That...That was the first time he a-acknowledge a woman..." She said, sounding rather bitter now. 'Women; Father hated them. Thought they were sin."

Jace watched Mute carry Araidna, scurrying over rocks and logs. I could go faster, Jace thought, then immediately dismissed it. Stupid. He could go faster, yeah - if he didn't kill her along the way. But still, Jace mused, his heart speeding up as he watched Mute.
Mute. She was goo at reading people, at watching and learning and observing. If she said it was okay, he'd fly faster than he ever had in his life.
He quickly spiraled down, landing to a stop next to Mute. Breathless, he gasped, "I can fly her there."

Eris shook her head sadly, and muttered "I don't agree with that statement. This is hell. Death is much better." She looked back at him, just as furious as he was.

Ransom sat down, racked with uncertainty. "So, if I hadn't brought you here to save you, you would have been perfectly fine with it?" He was furious, but now h didn't know at what.
He had risked his life saving someone who didn't want to be saved. He was stuck a Fallen, because he had saved someone who didn't want to be saved. Said saved person didn't know or care how bad he had it, as long as she could go and kill herself over a rabbit. Said saved person was an ungrateful brat.
Said saved person was not the only one who wanted to die.

Eris rolled her eyes, and said "Yes. Ransom, Death doesn't appear in the flesh to bury a knife in someone's heart. He was just tempting you back, and it worked!" She walked back inside the hut, slamming the door behind her in frustration.

Ransom yanked the door open, and stormed after her angrily. "You think I don't know that? But what I do know is worse! Death isn't just some nursery rhyme! Death is the one who can control every single Fallen Angel on this planet. Death is the one that can make tragedy strike with a wave of his arm. Don't underestimate it," Ransom growled. His speech brought back memories that he'd rather leave where they were. Memories of pain, hurt, Death's words in his ears. Of human's screams.

Eris shouted "I dealt with Death everyday! I know, stop trying to teach me!" She sighed "Whatever, you made me Fallen and I suppose I should just make the best of it. And I'm not arguing with you anymore."

Ransom's eyes flashed, as he walked past her and into the kitchen where he had stowed the rabbit. He needed to eat, and he needed to calm down. He quickly wolfed down the rabbit.
