Between Life and Death RP

Seldanna woke up in the morning and got ready for another possibly simple day. She left her home and went to patrol the city once more, like she did everyday, and make sure nothing crazy was going on. She looked at the few Guardians who were flying high in the air, since that was an easier way to patrol, and instantly regretted her childhood decision of not fighting back when her wings were removed.

Eris sat down and looked up at the sky, looking for help. She didn't understand Fallen life at all, and it was eating away at herZ

Ransom came back out of the kitchen with his hands washed. He was met with a pretty, serene girl sitting on the floor, looking up above. The one who had been screaming at him just a minute ago for saving her life.
Silently, he sat next to her.

Eris whispered softly, while still looking up "I'm sorry." She didn't add anything, she felt as if that is all she should say.

Jace watched Mute carry Araidna, scurrying over rocks and logs. I could go faster, Jace thought, then immediately dismissed it. Stupid. He could go faster, yeah - if he didn't kill her along the way. But still, Jace mused, his heart speeding up as he watched Mute.
Mute. She was goo at reading people, at watching and learning and observing. If she said it was okay, he'd fly faster than he ever had in his life.

He quickly spiraled down, landing to a stop next to Mute. Breathless, he gasped, "I can fly her there."

Mute's head turned quickly in Jace's direction at the sound of his voice. Still running, she looked deep into his eyes, trying to figure out if she should trust him or not. He seems fine now but then again... she thought before speaking "How fast would you be able to get to the hospital?", unsure if he'd be able to fly Araidna there fast enough before the fallen side of him took over. She watched him, his body language, his eyes, anything that would be able to tell her if he would be able stop himself from killing Araidna on the way to the hospital. "You can fly her there... but please be quick."

Jace closed his eyes, then snapped them open with quiet intensity. "Yeah, I can do that," he said huskily. He touched Mute's arm. "One more thing," he said. "I might be able o get her there, bu I won't be able to stay. The hospital's too crowded, and - " Jace stopped, unsure whether he should admit to the extent of his pain. No, he decided. "Just... Find a way to be there, and fast." He relayed which hospital he was going to, and without another word, launched into the air. Araidna lolled in his arms.
She was so vulnerable, Jace thought. So he would protect her from himself.
He put all of his energy into beating his torn wings, into using every last ounce of his strength to fly.

Eris looked at him, back in his Fallen state. Now that she had calmed down, she had had time to assess him. How glorious he had been as a Guardian...and now, he looked glorious in another way. She wondered how she looked like as a Fallen.

Ransom sensed Eris looking at him, and he turned and stared right back, meeting her gaze. After a while, a smile lifted his lips. "What are you doing?" he asked.
