Eris said quickly "I flew into the tree, that's all.", hiding the grim reason for it. She added "I guess I'm fine."
Ransom frowned. "Why were you trying to fly in the first place? Where were you going?"

Eros stuttered, embarrassed to even be in his presence "Death kept tormenting me. He kept saying I should. Should. Should kill you." She was now shaking, and said "The only way I could stop it was to do that."Ransom frowned. "Why were you trying to fly in the first place? Where were you going?"
Eros stuttered, embarrassed to even be in his presence "Death kept tormenting me. He kept saying I should. Should. Should kill you." She was now shaking, and said "The only way I could stop it was to do that."
Eris shook her head, and said "No, I..." She had a bewildered and lost look to her face. She didn't understand anything. She tried her best not to cry, but Death was eating away at her soul.Ransom blinked, his heart hammering in his chest. "Hey," he said. "Eris." He touched her arm. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have fallen asleep. You shouldn't have to do that."
Jace smelled meat. He had been gone maybe five minutes, after seeing Mute storm off into the forest. Or maybe she wasn't mad. He was never sure.
He followed the scent, his fangs growing and slashing at his lips. And, after a while, he found what he seeked: A small, plump deer.
Jace carefully stalked his prey. Within a minute, he was on it and tearing at it's vulnerable form with his fangs. "Thank you," he whispered to the dying light in it's eyes.
When all went dull, he began to eat.
He hadn't eaten in a long, long while - being in human company had made him self-conscious of what he ate. No, what he had to eat. He had gotten by though, foolishly eating the bare minimum. Now, his stupidity showed when he couldn't see Araidna for fear of killing her doctors.
The meat was succulent and good and the blood was fresh and sweet. Having temporarily slated his deepset hunger, Jace turned back to the hospital. But not before wiping the blood off his face.
Adara nodded,
"His religion and his culture. He was taught that way from the day he could understand." She told Caleb with a sigh."I...I do not want to be trapped in that anymore. I used to be unable to remove my hijab, but now I took it off. America...In America, women have freedom. I see them walking down street alone, wearing what they want. I know I do not have home, but a woman from my culture could never have so much freedom." She sounded very passionate about this, with a smile daring to appear on her face. She just couldn't believe the fact that she was free. She had no home, no money, and barely any understanding of American culture, but she had the freedom to just be a person, not half that of a man.
Claire nodded tiredly, a weak smile on her face.
Claire kissed him back softly. Her eyes dazzled in a pink and purple."That's the amazing thing about America... The freedom." Caleb said, smiling at Adara. "I would have hated to be controlled that way. I'm glad you were able to get away from it."~
Pryrus smiled at her, then kissed her gently.~
