Between Life and Death RP

"Well you can live here for now. I will help you find a job, if you would like." Caleb said with a smile. He would love to help her, but he didn't want her to feel helpless either...~
Adara beamed, feeling so grateful to have so much help.
"Please, I would love that. I've never been allowed to get a job before, so I am not completely sure how." She admitted to Caleb. She hoped that even though she had never had a paying job before, that wouldn't leave her unable to find someone who would hire her.

Lilith nodded, and sighed "I don't want power. I don't to hurt anyone. But now my life is essentially over. No one likes me, almost all humans want to get rid of me, and I can't even touch anyone."
"Well, that is true. But, no matter what you are, there are still people who will see through that. It's just a little more difficult." Seldanna said reasonably. "I mean, I like you. That's a start."

Caleb smiled. "I will help you find a job. Would you like me to show you your room? It's not the nicest, but I hope it will do."

Caleb smiled. "I will help you find a job. Would you like me to show you your room? It's not the nicest, but I hope it will do."
Adara nodded, "Yes. I do not care how nice it is, as long as it's a place to say." Adara told him honestly, "So, I'm very sure I'll be content with it."

The gravel of the parking lot crunched under Jace's shoes. He had just eaten two thirds of a deer - All he could actually stomach. But he was still nervous. What if he slipped? What if the sickly patients brought out the worst in him?
He sighed, and wished that Mute had agreed to tell her whole name. There was probably a good reason why - there was for most of the things she did. But was her secret reason really worth risking a hospital-worth of patients and doctors and nurses? Was it worth risking Araidna?
Jace stopped at the door, and looked around. Where was Mute? he wondered, scanning the parking lot. Well, it's not like she could help him anyways. He had to do this alone.
Jace took a deep breath, tried to push down his worries and fear, and opened the door.
He was met with cool air, heavy with the sickly scent of death. He hated hospitals. He saw the same clerk. A snide expression slipped over her monotone ways. "Get out, if you're here for dinner," she snapped.
Jace swallowed. "I'm not. My friend - Araidna, you know? I have to see her."
"Name?" the clerk asked, pretending to be bored, nonchalant. Jace saw easily through her façade. She was terrified of him.
"Jace Smith," Jace replied.
"Room 239," the clerk said.
Jace continued on .

(I have no idea how to reply...)

Caleb smiled. "Follow me." He lead Adara down the main hall, all the way to the end and to the right. "Here we are."~
Adara followed, glancing at the few pictures and such hanging on the walls as she did so. When they arrived at the room, she opened the door and glanced inside. Adara looked back at Caleb with a pleasant smile, grateful that a stranger had cared for her well being. "Thank you so much. I...I am so grateful. I will...I am not going to rest until I can repay you." She told him in a kind and gentle tone. She knew the room wasn't that nice, with the bland walls, the chill it emitted, and the small and dusty bed, but she was grateful for anything at all.
