So last night my light in the brooder exploded and now chicks are pooping this is it normal

3 weeks old,all are looking fine no probs eating and drinking either

Not at all normal. Get a bottle of Corid and begin treatment immediately.
You want to treat for a severe infection. The dose is 2 tsp of Corid to one gallon of water. Make sure this is the ONLY source of drinking water available to the birds.
I would also make a mash out of their chick starter using Corid water so that they will get it by eating too. Give them fresh water daily. Keep them at this dose for 7-10 days.
Then drop to 1 tsp per gallon of water and continue for another week.

When you say "exploded" - did it shatter into the brooder? Could they have eaten bits of glass?

Actually that's what I was thinking also. Small bits of glass look tasty to chickens for some odd reason. Except that type of glass can cut as it's passing through.

Yes that is what I meant,I was worried they had ate the glass and damaged the insides ....they are still acting normal eating and drinking well

The corid won't hurt. I assume their poop was normal before the lamp shattered?

That's a terrible thought, but one I hate to have to concur with as my experience too is that they like shiny things....
