Welcome y’all! This is just a fun thread to share your favorite verse, tell us anything interesting you read in your Bible, anything that really stood out to you, what devotional you use, and anything else Bible-wise! Philippians 4:4-9 NIV
"4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! [5] Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. [6] Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. [7] And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. [8] Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable---if anything is excellent or praiseworthy---think about such things. [9] 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you."

I love this very practical passage Paul wrote...a great guide as to how to go through the day.
 
Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
One of themselves, [even] a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians [are] alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

They profess that they know God; but in works they deny [him], being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
