Imagine bread and water that could nourish and sustain you for 40 days as you traveled through the wilderness! You can live about three very miserable days without water, and it takes about 40 days without food to starve to death if you're careful not to exert yourself too much. But the Lord sustains us, so one of His names is El Shaddai; He provides for all our needs in ways we can't even imagine. Let us trust Him completely and make Him our Adonai, Lord of our lives.
