x2 I'm lateJoshua?
Where did you come up with this? It was God that ordered the killing of babies here. The LORD.
However, I believe your'e looking at it a little bit differently than the Bible tells...
Pharaoh king of Egypt ordered that all Hebrew baby boys be killed. The act was done- hundreds upon thousands of babies drowned in the Nile for the simple crime of being alive. Only one male child of this generation survived- Moses. Years later, the LORD told Pharaoh to let his children free. When he refused, the LORD gave him eleven warnings- eleven chances to do as He asked. However, when Pharaoh continued to rebel, the LORD sent the Angel of the LORD to kill all the firstborns in the land of Egypt. Yes, it was terrible, but it was just. Egypt had enslaved, beaten, and killed the LORD's firstborn, so to speak. After many opportunities to escape punishment, the LORD took the lives of Egypt's firstborn. Consider again if this act was as unjust as it appears that you think.
