Bielefelder Leg Issues???

This is exactly what happened with my Bielefelder roo. Whatever it is, I think it came from the hatchery. When I first got him I noticed that he would scratch the food out of the feeder and eat off the floor, which makes sense if he couldn't lift his head or lifting it was painful.
It may be wry neck, but I don't think so. His neck wasn't floppy as I've seen in pictures and videos, the muscles had actually locked his head in a down position so he couldn't walk correctly.
As mentioned previously, he would scuttle backward and seem to have convulsions, then flop and lie still, usually lying on his head. I made sure he got water by sliding his beak along the edge of the dish. I put vitamins in his water and fed him Vitamin E capsules. He recovered in a couple of days.
